Four Noncitizens Charged With Illegal Voting

Federal prosecutors charged four more noncitizens in Philadelphia with illegally voting in the 2024 election, bringing the number charged in Pennsylvania to 10.

Officials say two of the defendants are Pakistani citizens with lawful permanent residency, one is a Portuguese citizen living here legally, and one is a French citizen allegedly in the country unlawfully.

The charges follow four other cases filed last month against noncitizens accused of voting or registering to vote in Philadelphia and Chester counties.

If convicted, each faces up to a year in prison and a fine. The Justice Department said in late September it had charged 90 people with voting fraud nationwide this year.

Data Center Pushback Grows in Luzerne

Hazle Township residents are turning down $10,000 each to support a proposed data center, with some comparing the developer’s offer to bribery.

Elsewhere in Luzerne County, Newport Township residents voiced concerns to township commissioners about 15 proposed data centers.

Hundreds of people gathered to oppose the Newport Township proposal, adding to growing pushback across the county.

Hazle Township has paused new data center applications for six months while it updates its zoning rules, and more than 60 data center proposals have popped up statewide in the past year.

Cranmer told followers that Homer “doesn’t stink” and called him “the best pet in the world.”

Fans often joked that Homer lived better than they did, with one commenter writing, “I want to be Homer in my next life.”

Costa Rica’s Blue Zone Breakfast

Most Americans think eating sweets for breakfast is unhealthy…

But according to Stanford researchers, there’s one delicious “dessert” food that Costa Ricans in the famous “blue zone” there eat each morning that:

✅ Keeps them lean even into their 70s, 80s, and 90s
✅ Slows blood sugar spikes and maintains healthy insulin sensitivity
✅ Keeps their blood pressure at normal, healthy levels
✅ Keeps their hearts and arteries strong and clean well into old age, with a striking lack of heart disease in their population
✅ Even helps them have seven times more centenarians than Japanese people

So what’s the No. 1 dessert food that helps Costa Ricans live healthy, lean, and energetic past 100? (See Report)

P.S. Here’s the surprising part. While Costa Ricans are living longer with this morning ritual, Americans trying it are losing seven pounds in a couple of weeks as a side effect.
