Answer: Oakmont Country Club, outside Pittsburgh, hosted its record 10th U.S. Open in 2025, three more than any other club. Designed by H.C. Fownes and famed for its lightning-fast greens and Church Pews bunker, Oakmont is a USGA anchor site with three more Opens scheduled through 2049. It ranks second all-time in USGA championships hosted, one behind fellow Pennsylvania course Merion.
